Aaron Bell

Passionate about Asian language and culture, Aaron earned a bachelors degree in Asian Studies, with a minor in Japanese, at Whitman College in the United States. After graduation, he worked for two years as a web developer and studied graphic design with a focus on typography. Aaron returned to the academic fold last year and is now a postgraduate student at the University of Reading in the MA in Typeface Design program, focusing on Latin and Korean multi-script design.

His other creative interests include music and photography. Over the years, he studied trumpet, french horn, noh flute and is currently working on guitar. He also sang in choir during college. His first camera was a manual Nikomat camera, taking pictures in black and white.

Besides all of that, he is a distance cyclist and historical fencer & swordsman.
